In the work of Dominique Bradbury, who predominantly works on oil on canvas or oil on paper, you see how a painter's painter reflects, selects and structures images for the painted surface.   Importantly,  having been born at a time where photography and film and the influences on ways of seeing and to a degree thinking, pervade every minutia of modern life - what emerges from this intriguing painter are works which are refreshingly timeless and modern.
